Things to do in Newark

I'm so very very excited. It'll be my first Dodge Poetry Festival, and I've heard marvelous things about it. A part of me wishes that I could just be a spectator. I've got a pretty full schedule. I can't say that there's any one reading I'm excited to hear . . .  I'm excited for the audience, mostly. I'm excited for the conversations and the friends I'll be seeing. I also do plan on buying books, though I do have to be cautious about the added weight I accumulate in my bag.

Other things I'm excited for--being back on the East Coast, even though I was just there. It's different when you have kids in tow. This time I'm going solo (sorry Meredith. Sorry, boys.)
